Ticketing Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and conditions carefully. By purchasing a ticket to a D.I.V.E. Theatre Collective theatre production or event, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

Conditions of Entry

1.1. The event will start promptly at the scheduled time, and entry may not be possible if you arrive after that. If you enter the theatre late, please do so with minimal disruption to the ongoing performance.

1.2. If you leave the theatre during a performance, re-entry cannot be guaranteed. If re-admittance is permitted, please re-enter the venue with minimal disruption to the ongoing performance.

1.3. It is essential to treat both staff and fellow visitors with respect at all times and to comply with the instructions provided by the staff.

Pricing & Payments

2.1. Tickets are only valid if purchased through D.I.V.E. Theatre Collective or an authorised agent.

2.2. All tickets are subject to availability.

2.3. Prices are quoted in Australian dollars and are subject to change without notice.

2.4. Booking fees may apply to your ticket purchase, and you will be notified of the applicable fee prior to purchase.

2.5. D.I.V.E. Theatre Collective reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute artists; vary advertised programs, performance times, venue, seating arrangements and audience capacity; and refuse admission with reasonable cause. Tickets will not be exchanged or refunded as a result of these changes, except as provided for in this Refunds and Exchanges Policy or as required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law).

2.6. Concessions only apply to Centrelink-issued Pensioner cardholders, Veterans Affairs, and full-time students. You may be required to present a relevant ID upon entrance. If you do not present a concession ID, you may be charged the difference for the full ticket price.

Refunds and Exchanges Policy

3.1. Tickets are non-refundable. However, the ticket holder is permitted to exchange their ticket for another performance date of the same production if 24-hour notice is provided prior to the start date of the original ticket.

3.2. If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, D.I.V.E. Theatre Collective will attempt to notify ticket holders via email and/or telephone. However, we do not guarantee that ticket holders will be informed of such cancellation or rescheduling prior to the event.

3.3. Refunds or exchanges will be granted if an event is cancelled or rescheduled by D.I.V.E. Theatre Collective. To the extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law), D.I.V.E. Theatre Collective and its producers will not reimburse the ticket holder for auxiliary expenses (such as the cost of travel, car-parking, child-care and accommodation) or other consequential loss suffered by you in connection with your attendance or non-attendance at an event. We recommend that you obtain your ticket and/or travel insurance for those expenses.

3.4. To the extent permitted by Law (including the Australian Consumer Law), D.I.V.E. Theatre Collective is not liable to refund you any amount beyond the face value of the Ticket.

3.5. Missed Performances: Tickets will not be refunded or exchanged due to the ticket holder’s inability to attend the performance, including instances such as inability to find parking. We recommend patrons plan their arrival with sufficient time to accommodate potential delays and parking considerations.

3.6. Booking fees are non-refundable.

Accessibility

4.1. D.I.V.E. Theatre Collective organises dedicated, welcoming and accessible events for all audience members.

4.2. Wandering performances take place inside a black box theatre space. There are no seats; audience members are asked to walk a short distance following the actors and to stand during the show (around 60 minutes). We strongly encourage you to move around the performance space for the best vantage points – our volunteers will guide you to the best spots for each scene. Priority seating will be provided for those who need it. Please email [email protected] to request priority seating.

4.3. D.I.V.E. Theatre Collective shows and events are accessible for patrons in wheelchairs. To ensure the best possible experience, we must obtain all the necessary information at the time of booking. Please email [email protected] informing of any concerns and/or adjustments required.

4.4. D.I.V.E. Theatre Collective is an affiliate of the Queensland Government’s Companion Card program. D.I.V.E. Theatre Collective provides Companion Card holders with a second ticket for their chosen companion at no cost. The cardholder must provide their companion card details when making a booking and present a valid ID card at the venue. Companion card tickets are available to book through our website.
