Madeleine is an emerging Australian performing artist who is passionate about the power of arts and theatre in creating safe spaces that bring communities together and give people a voice.
Madeleine is a qualified teacher with a background in community work and community arts projects. She holds a Bachelor of Creative Industries and a Bachelor of Human Services from QUT, and a Master of Teaching.
She has experience in various contexts, including a youth detention centre, youth and family support services in Cherbourg, a drop-in centre for asylum seekers and refugees, and a boarding school designed for young Indigenous mothers and their babies.
